Youth Council
We do two zoom meetings, and 1 in-person meeting every month, there will be polls in place to choose our next meeting spot(s) and it’ll be a fun activity afterwards (bowling, escape room, paint ball, movies, etc).
Our mission project is to go to high schools/ colleges to get young people registered to vote, explain the importance of voting and how we can come together to make a difference in our communities.
Once you’re a member, there will be quarterly meetings that’ll take place in Orlando with luncheons and workshops, where you’ll meet other youth to network and discuss with.
You’ll be able to vote and become the Treasurer, Vice President or other seats on the panel in which we’ll do elections.
We’ll be discussing ideas about ways to improve our community, places to volunteer and starting events to spread awareness about the NAACP.
